"Rise of Asia" take 3 - "The Conquest Dynasties"

As AlCosta said, go to Scenario Properties and click on the Locked Alliances tab. For future reference, if you have a question that is different from the topic of the thread, make a new thread in the Creation and Customization forum.

Also, we're not here 24-7. It takes time for others to answer.

Added Balhae, Jurchens, and the Tanguts. Balhae is a non-playable civ; it is fairly developed but should be eventually overrun by the Khitan Liao and the Jurchen Jin. Jurchens and Tanguts are playable civs. They are slightly more developed than the Uighurs and Tibetans and are intended to be a nuisance to the Chinese civ. ;)

-Specialists added: Entertainer, Alchemist, Merchant, Civil Servant, and City Guard

-Additional concepts added: War Elephants and Early-Ripening Rice Trade

-New city improvements added: Rice Merchant, Sawmill, and Stone Mason

Looks good.

However, you may want to edit the Silk Route effects, as you can only have it give +5% to the treasury, or 1 trade for every trade-producing tile.

Now, do you think that the bonus is goo enough for a great wonder? :p

Not sure. What do you think?

Now that I think about it, perhaps it could also enable civs to acquire two free techs but require Silk resources and six marketplaces to represent the exchange of ideas and the formation of trade networks.

Coming along nicely Ogedai...I hope you can use the units I'm in the process of making (Asian scout and Explorer) in this mod.

Yeah, I'll have a use for them. Having a Native American style scout and a European style explorer doesn't really fit the theme now, does it? ;) Any chance you'll also make an Indian / South Asian style scout?

Nalanda University and Prambanan Wonder graphics are complete. And thanks to Blue Monkey's wonderful list on his Bharata thread, I now have a nice list of techs for the South Asia section of the tech tree. :D

Next on my to-do list for buildings are Korean buildings and the latest of my "Insanely-difficult" projects. :crazyeye:

For a working alpha, I'll simply use placeholder building graphics, but what I'll be aiming for are four distinct culture group graphics for all city improvements - East Asian, Steppes / Himalayan, Southeast Asian, and South Asian. East Asian will be a mix of Chinese, Korean, and Japanese style buildings. Steppes / Himalayan will feature Tibetan-style architecture. Southeast Asian will have Thai and Khmer buildings. South Asian will be purely Indian architecture.

Nope, it hasn't been abandoned. Neither is the "Annals of Seven Kingdoms" project either. Things simply have been going slow as of late since I've been so preoccupied with real life. Most of the work I've been doing so far are on the building graphics.
