Yes, this is the Methode I´m currently using -but here I have to deal with the semi-transparent background and additionally with the shrinking of the letters to city-names in resource size.

Yes… then, you could always have different types of lettering for each different tribe, too. Bedouins could use the much-hated Papyrus, and so on.

Also you may see that copying the letters still makes blue and other color marks around the letters... Drawing the letters by pixel is easier for me, so that's what I do, and I know the letters are clear.
