How does everyone feel about 2metra's plan? We have to be careful with domination victory because we have to find and kill the Wizard first. Conquest might be quicker and safer.
Yeah, we are moving OK for the stupid AI, but I wonder how well we fare compared to our real competition - the other teams. Not much I guessI've had a look at the save and it looks like progress is being made.
Yeah, 4 of them IIRC - it is still cheaper than a settler I thinkIt took a lot of archers to get our city back.
I though about this, and even tried this with an archer on the hills, but the axe was just staying there and watching and after 6 turns no one came to try his luck with our archer, I think they would have only stay there and build up in the city. Also, I guess it is from much MP, but my instinctive reaction is to take back the city for psychological reasons, pushing back the aggressor whatever the costI wonder if my idea about milking some military promotions would have worked?
I think we even dont need much of exploration. If/when we get first to Cuirrasiers or Cavalries, then we will just steamroll everything, and knowing the map will be not of a big use I propose we to concentrate on our part of the world.My primary concern is exploration.
Interesting fact, which set me back some good 300-400 years in my test game was that I got to ciurrassiers in about 1120AD, but I could not get horses to actually start the rush till late 1400's. It is good that we have secured horses in our Copper city. It will be a good idea to defend him better - we saw what those barbs are capable of. And there are a lot of barbs in the Center.What about exploring with horse archers?
