[SoI] Samanid Religious Victory

Sorry, just managed 8 turns, really need my bed now . I hope I didn't play too sloppy in the end already.

Turn 0

HHAs from Samarkand and Khavakend are sent towards Merv. Some will be sent to Nishapur and Gorgan, as we need to control the provinces for the Shahanshah. If Khwarezmia and the Seljuks somehow survive, those cities flip back to them pretty quickly usually, which we want to avoid. Science slider to 70%, Optics due in 3 turns. Espionage distributed between Yemen and Abbasids; not sure if the Fatimids will survive. Sell Religious Architecture to Oman for 70g+WM.

Turn 1

Herat repeats Trebuchet. Gwadar finishes Slave Market, starts Sufi Missionary. Samarkand HHA->Market. Trade Music Theory to Fatimids for 150g+WM. Spy from Basrah sent to Bagdad to destroy the castle there. Some Mongols killed on the outskirts of Merv. Trade Music Theory to Khwarezmia for: WM, civic changes, and trade embargo with Fatimids. Towns get pillaged in Armenian Lands.

Turn 2

Mekka Bank -> Guild Hall; Zaranj Barracks -> Trebuchet; Gwadar repeats Sufi Missionary; Kerman repeats Trebuchet; Ghazna University -> Inn; Merv Sufi -> Inn. Relic settled in Mekka. Nishapur is captured, Shia believers get massacred; we raze the other city in Western Khorasan. For each of the northern and southern stacks, a HHA gets medicII.

Turn 3

Khwarezmia collapses. Optics learned, Blast Furnace next. Gwadar Sufi->HHA; Quandahar University -> Inn. Sell deer to Yemen for 4gpt. HHAs in Nishapur heal up, ready to head to Abbasid Lands soon.

Turn 4

Quetta University -> Inn. HHAs and siege weapons from Kerman head towards Abbasid lands.

Turn 5

Ghazna Inn->Brothel; Gwadar HHA -> walls. Our Great Merchant conducts a trading mission in Manbai for 1349g, science slider up to 80%. Sufis start spreading Sunni Islam in Gujarat cities. Northern HHA-stack rides towards Mesopotamia.

Turn 6

Ajmer collapses. Fatimids cancel sheep-for-7gpt-deal. Mazar finishes Grand Bazaar and starts Bank. Zaranj and Herat repeat Trebuchet; Gwadar Walls->Castle. Samarkand Market -> Library. Great General from Gwadar is attached for a medicIII HHA.

Turn 7

Merv Inn -> Brothel; Mekka Guild Hall -> Sunni Madrassah; Quetta and Quandahar Inn -> Brothel; Ghazna Brothel -> Bank. Sell silver to Fatimids for 9 gpt. Our HA in Armenia has already pillaged 4 towns.

Turn 8

Gwadar Castle -> Sufi Missionary. Farghana stops HHA-production and starts a Hospital, as its unhealthy. Destroying a castle in Bagdad is a bit too expensive, the spy should just revolt the city when the Mongols arrive.

Comments:

- I kept the Great Priest in Merv for now; maybe conquering Cyprus is the easiest way here, as they usually dont have a lot of defenders
- Distribute spy points to Fatimids/Mamluks
- What happens to relics when the barbs conquer a city where one is settled?
- One HHA-Stack is parked in Kermanshah

Turn 0 (278) Minor adjustment or so called micromanaging.

Turn 1 Gwadar sufi -> sufi, Mecca Sunni Madrasah -> Slave Market (we should really maximise our gold mine). Some troops are also finished, but I focuse on economy, since I think we have enough and it is starting to show in our cash flow.

Turn 2 We research Blast Furnace, next Astronomy. Hurricane strikes Gwadar: sufi -> library, Samarqand library -> university, Quetta brothel -> slave market, Neyshapur begins with a blacksmith.

Turn 3 Zaranj trebutchet -> confectioner, Farghana hospital -> butchery, Qandahar brothel -> market. Great Artist was born in Gwadar. Sunni spread to Manbai.

Turn 4 Marv brothel -> granary (eventual plague), Mecca slave market -> confectioner. Our armies are quite prepared to strike against the Abbasids just a little behind the mongols.:D

Turn 5 Karaman (re)spawns. Mazar bank -> confectioner, Gwadar library -> courhouse, Farghana butchery -> slave market, Quetta slave market -> confectioner, Ghazna bank -> Karimi Funduq. Sunni spread to Somnath.

Turn 6 Farghana slave market -> courthouse. Mongols spawn near near, we kill 5 and lose 2. Missionary fails to spread Sunni to Dwarka.

Turn 7 Khavakend bank -> hospital, Ghazna karimi funduq -> butchery. Mongols take Yazd. We open borders with Gujarat and trade sheep for cotton.

Turn 8 Abbasids collapse on the same turn that the Mongol armies are about to spawn in Mesopotamia! I just hope that the rebel defences will hold.
Spoiler :

Turn 9 Ghorids offer to vassalise, but I really don't see any pros in accepting that. Mazar confectioner -> courthouse, Farghana courhouse -> bank, Samarqand university -> butchery, Ghazna butchery -> confectioner. The Mongol Horde:
Spoiler :

Turn 10 Gwadar Slave Market -> bank, Qandahar market -> walls. Mongols fail to conquer anything, so it our turn to sweep in. We kill 6 mongols and conquer Wasit, which has, wait for it:
Spoiler :
four settled Great Saints! The GG is just a bonus.

Turn 11 Mecca butchery -> fairground, Samarqand butchery -> slave market. Mongols take Baghdad, since we couldn't reach on the turn before. However, we retaliate by conquering it straight back, while at it we also take Kufah, Ahvaz, Basra and Samarra! Great General spawns. We become the Commander of the Faithful!
Spoiler :

Turn 12 (290) Great Artist is born in Marv. Mesopotamia is pacified. We have recovered a total of three muslim relics from there!
Spoiler :

Notes:
-How many relics are still missing? There is one in Marv.
-Should we take Jerusalem/Constantinople/Dwarka at some point? Constantinople would be nice to get before the Ottomans reach it.

The hard part would be to win before all the late civs spawn. You still have to conquer all of Persia...although once you become Shahanshah, you can lose the unproductive cities.
If I'm correct the Timurids spawn in the mid 1300's...how do you plan to keep Samarkand and the other 2 that will flip?

Turn 0: 1262AD
772g -111 gpt @ 80% science. Astronomy due in 3 turns.
We haven't built enough Hospitals to allow for construction of the Medical University, so I switch Mazar's build from Aqueduct to Hospital. This will be the final Hospital required for the Medical University. Upgrade our Swordsman in Al-Kufah to Heavy Infantry. Open Borders with Karaman. Sell World Map to various civs for a total of 230g. Sell Crop Rotation to Sindh for WM + 110g. Upgrade our deal with Ghorids from 1gpt to 3gpt. Upgrade our deal with Sindh from 2gpt to 5gpt. Trade Honey to Solanki for 1gpt. There are a bunch of Sindh and Ghorid cities that don't yet have Sunni Islam. Change Ghazna from building and Aqueduct to start Sunni Missionary production. Switch specialists around in Marv to prioritise Great Merchant for settling in Mecca as our next Great Person. This will allow Mecca to work one additional tile (the Gold Mine).

Turn 1: 1264AD
Worker (or multiple workers?) is killed by Mongols near Yazd. :( Seljuks offer to vassalise -> No. Khavakend finishes Hospital (5/6) and starts Weaver. Makah finishes Fairground, starts Pottery Workshop. Spread Sunni Islam in Al-Basrah and Ahvaz. Sunni is now up to 47%. Make Peace with Byzantines and their Armenian vassals for 65g. Sell Cartography to Byzantines for 280g. Sell Crop Rotation to Oman for 150g plus their World Map. Sell Religious Architecture to Ghorids for 70g. We have 2x Great Artists and 1x Great Prophet. I send one of the Great Artists towards Iraq, and eventually towards Constantinople. Suggest we could use this Great Artist to culture bomb after we capture Constantinople to instantly restore order in the city. Will wait until Iraq cities come out of revolt before triggering a Golden Age with the remaining Great Artist. Our Great Prophet should either be settled in Mecca or used to spread Sunni - perhaps in Hindustan? Great Prophet heads for Gwadar in the meantime. We have 2x Great Generals currently. One is waiting in Mecca to complete the URV condition and the other I re-route back towards Farghana. Our relic in Farghana needs to be transferred to Mecca also, and we will need an extra settled GG to build L3 cavalry units after this occurs. Our economy is now 1425g -89gpt @ 80% science.

Turn 2: 1265AD
Farghana finishes Bank, starts Confectioner. Kerman finishes Butchery, starts Bank. Qandahar finishes Castle, starts Slave Market. Samarkand finishes Slave Market, starts Bank. Refugees from the razed city of Yazd (Mongols) settle in Ahvaz. Trade Deer to Byzantines for 16gpt. Sell WM for a total of 90g. Capture Mosul, massacre infidels and give city over to Armenia. Trade Sheep to Seljuks for 3gpt. Spread Sunni in Peshawar (Ghorid).

Astronomy is learnt, next Moveable Type. Khavakend findishes Weaver, starts Textile Factory. Gwadar finishes Bank, starts Sufi Shrine. Makkah finishes Pottery Workshop, starts Walls. Ghazna finishes last Sunni Missionary, starts Weaver. Neyshabour finishes Blacksmith, starts Guild Hall. Al-Raqqah (Shia) is razed. Pillage a total of 48g of improvements in upper Mesopotamia. Kill 2x Mongol HHAs near Shiraz.

Turn 4: 1268AD
Gwadar finishes Sufi Shrine, starts Ulugh Beg Observatory. Farghana finishes Confectioner, starts Sunni Missionary (to remove settled relic). Makkah finishes Walls, starts Castle. Yemen captures Madinah from Fatimids. Our 3x relics are loaded onto fleet at Al-Basrah and head for Makkah. Trade Sulfur to Yemen for Marble. Upgrade deal with Georgia from 2gpt to 3gpt. Pillage improvements for a total of 69g.

Turn 5: 1270AD
Quetta finishes Bank, starts Weaver. Ghazna finishes Weaver, starts Textile Factory. Pillage for a total of 86g. A small stack of Rebels (various types of Spearmen) from Kashgar (also known as "that city in the Himalayas") approaches Farghana with intent. Switch production to prioritize a Heavy Infantry next in Farghana.

Turn 6: 1271AD
Seljuks collapse. Mazar finishes Hospital, starts Inn. Farghana finishes Heavy Infantry, starts Medical University. Qandahar finishes Slave Market, starts Bank. Shiraz is captured, infidels massacred and given to Oman. Cloak of the Prophet is unsettled from Farghana and heads for the port of Gwadar. Maragheh is razed. Spread Sunni Islam in Sangrur (Sindh).

Turn 7: 1273AD
Rebel stack is finally killed near Farghana. Makkah finishes Castle, starts Sunni Great Mosque. Refugees settle in Samarra. A Samanid revolt occures in Farah. Gorgon (Catholic) is razed. Antioch is captured, massacred and given to Karaman. Our Great General is settled in Farghana. Iraq is now out of revolt, so I launch a Golden Age with 1x Great Artist. Switch civics from Slavery to Free Labor. Nisbin is captured, massacred and given to Armenia. Trade Sorghum to Armenia for 2gpt.

Turn 8: 1274AD
Mazar finishes Inn, starts Sufi Missionary. Herat finishes Bank, starts Weaver. Samarkand finishes Bank, starts Confectioner. Quetta finishes Weaver, starts Textile Factory. Start our attack on Rayy.

Turn 9: 1276AD
Some more Mongols spawn near Damascus. Mazar finishes Sufi Missionary, starts Weaver. Marv finishes Bank, starts Weaver. Zaranj finishes Bank, starts Weaver. Khavakend finishes Textile Factory, starts Monument (to enable 100% Culture National Wonder). Kerman finishes Bank, starts Weaver. Rayy is captured, given to Armenia. Tarabulus captured, massacred and given to Karaman. Siraj captured and given to Oman. Homs captured, massacred and given to Karaman. Pillage a total of 89g. In our Golden Age, we are now Very Solid (+102) and our economy is 1405g -15gpt @ 80% science.

Turn 10: 1277AD
Mazar finishes Weaver, starts Textile Factory. Khavakend finishes Monument, starts Marksman production. We need some defenders for Iraq. Herat finishes Weaver, starts Monument. Kerman finishes Weaver, starts Textile Factory. Samarkand finishes Confectioner, starts Monument. Ghazna finishes Textile Factory, starts Monument. Neyshabur finishes Guild Hall, starts Madrassah. Set espionage to focus on Byzantines. Our spy arrives in Konstantinople.

Turn 11: 1279AD
Zaranj finishes Weaver, starts Textile Factory. Herat finishes Monument, starts Textile Factory. Farghana finishes Medical University, starts Weaver. Samarkand finishes Monument, starts Weaver. Ghazna finishes Monument, starts Tannery. Sunni Islam spread in Dharamsala. Start to remove Rebel defenders in Kashgar.

Turn 12: 1280AD
Marv finishes Weaver, starts Textile Factory. Farghana finishes Weaver, starts Textile Factory. Makkah finishes Great Mosque, starts Harbor. Samarkand finishes Weaver, starts Textile Factory. Quetta finishes Textile Factory, starts Archery Range. Ghazna finishes Tannery, starts Archery Range. Neyshabur finishes Madrassah, starts Mosque. We get a good event in Samarra.
Spoiler :
Upgrade our deal with Sindh from 5gpt to 6gpt. Upgrade our deal with Oman from 3gpt to 5gpt. Upgrade our deal with Malwa from 2gpt to 3gpt. Remove a Rebel defender from Farah.

For discussion:
Our troops are at the gates of Damascus. Should we keep this city?
Shananshah. I figure that we need to declare on Byzantines as soon as we are ready to move on Constantinople, and this is probably the right time to take back those cities that were liberated to Armenia.
Sunni is about to get up to 50% (currently at 49%). Do we need to keep spreading it into Hindustan?
Fatimids have some relics that we are going to need. They aren't likely to want to switch to Sunni, so we should probably factor in when to forcibly convert their lands to Sunni.
We need a bunch of defenders for our cities in Persia and Iraq.

If I'm correct the Timurids spawn in the mid 1300's...how do you plan to keep Samarkand and the other 2 that will flip?

The Timurids are the only part that annoys me, since we'll need a significant amount of troops to deal with them and I doubt that we can win before they arrive. Shahanshah is walk in park, at the moment at least.

We need a bunch of defenders for our cities in Persia and Iraq.

Overall I think that we are in a good shape, but I think that we'll need more armies to deal with the Fatimids, Byzantines, Timurids, Persia (Shahanshah) and random Indian civs (Dwarka) all at once. We are only missing one relic, which most certainly is in Egypt, so I think that we should take on the Fatimids asap. Meanwhile we should prepare a Constantinople raiding party, the best time to take on the Byzs right after the Ottoman spawn.

About to play now. I've got to ask first though, which cities in Persia should we keep? Hamadan, Efsahan, Kermanshah and Qazvin? I like these cities, it would be a shame to raze them.

We should keep one city in every province that is needed for the Shahanshah title.

I'll keep Kermanshah and Efsahan, raze Qazvin and Hamadan. Damasqus, raze as well?

If I were to decide, I raze Damasqus and then immediately go for Constantinople. Otherwise, Ottomans might take it. I think we can save Fatimids for later. What do you all think of that?

Turn 1 1282: Khavkend Marksman -> Marksman. Gwadar builds Ulugh Beg Observatory, confectioner next. Qandahar bank -> barracks, Quetta and Ghazna archery range -> marksman, Ahvaz blacksmith -> courthouse. Sunni islam is now at 50%, so the UHV is checked, but still marked not yet. The great prophet in Gwadar is sent towards Mecca. Kermanshah captured and kept, will start guild hall.
Spoiler :

Turn 2 1283: We discover movable type, black powder next. Mazar textile factory -> HHA. Khavkend marksman -> HHA. Gwadar confectioner -> weaver. Mecca harbor -> Karimi Funduq. Qandahar barracks -> archery range. Ghazna marksman -> marksman Siege of Dimashq continues.

Turn 3 1285: Our hurt heavy infantery outside of Kashgar is killed by a sallied javeliner. Gwadar weaver -> textile factory, Farghana textile factory -> inn, Kerman textile factory -> confectioner, Quetta and Ghazna build marksmen to send west, Nyeshabur sunni mosque -> fairground. We raze the neutral city of Qazvin, and our piety drops from 100 to 79. The URV is still checked anyway (and the 50% goal required an end of turn to be fulfilled). Dimasq is captured and razed, our piety drops to 55. Sunni spread in Dwarka.
Spoiler :

Turn 4 1286: Yemen collapses. Mazar & Khavkend HHA -> HHA, Qandahar archery range -> marksman. Samarkand textile factory -> HHA, Quetta and Ghazna marksman -> marksman. Bagdad courthouse -> weaver. Kabul is captured by the Mongols, so we block the pass south with a marksman. Hamadan is razed, and now we're down to 39 faith :(. I think that was the last Sunni to raze for the time being, though. Esfahan captured and kept, guild hall first. To get the Shahansha we will need a) build a city in Tabaristan (coast to the Caspian sea), b) capture Teheran from the Armenians, c) captured Shiraz and Siraf from the Omani, and d) build a city in Yazd (between Efsahan and Kerman).
Spoiler :

Turn 5 1288: Ghorid want to vassalize again, we refuse. Farghana inn -> HHA. Mecca Karimi -> weaver, Nyeshabur fairground -> textile factory, Wasit guild hall -> fairground. A large horde of HHAs are in place in Konya. We declare war!
Spoiler :

Turn 6 1289: Zaranj textile factory -> stable, Khavkend, Samarkand & Farghana HHA -> HHa, Herat textile factory -> HHA, Quetta & Ghazna marksman -> marksman. The horde marches through Anatolia.

Turn 7 1291: Mazar, Farghana HHA -> HHA. Gwadar textile factory -> inn, Mecca weaver -> textile factory, Kerman confectioner -> inn, Qandahar & Ghazna marksman -> marksman. We capture Teheran. Our three relics arrive in Mecca. A substantial Byzantine stack is in the Levant.

Turn 8 1292: Farghana HHA -> HHA, Quetta marksman -> marksman, Wasit fairground -> library, Kufah blacksmith -> market. Mosul was blocking the way for the road, so I razed it as well. We are now heathen, with 21 faith points!

Turn 9 1294: Mazar, Farghana, Samarkand HHA -> HHA, Zaranj stable -> HHA, Gwadar inn -> brothel, Ghazna marksman -> marksman. We get a great merchant, and send it south towards Gwadar for settling in Mecca. We capture Constantinople! The head of John the baptist and bones of the magi are there.
Spoiler :

Spoiler :

Turn 10 1295: Herat and Farghana HHA -> HHA, Kerman inn -> brothel. Qandahar, QUetta nd Ghazna. marksman -> marksman. We culture bomb Constantinople to get it out of anarchy. Bagdad starts a sunni missionary to get islam to Constantinople.

Turn 11 1297: Gwadar brothel -> hospital, Farghana, Samarkand HHA -> HHA, Ghazna marksman -> marksman, Ahvaz courthouse -> fairground, Basra blacksmith -> guild hall, Constantinople starts a guild hall. We pillage 332 gold from Byzantine towns.

Turn 12 1298: Mazar, Khavkend, Farghana HHA -> HHA, Qandahar marksman -> confectioner, Quetta marksman -> Karimi. Bagdad starts its decline. More pillaging in Byzantine lands. Great saint arrive in Mecca, ready to settle, should we?
Spoiler :

To discuss:
Ottomans will spawn very soon. Do we want to conquer any more Byzantine cities, or should we let the Ottomans take care of it?
What next to conquer - Fatimids or Caucasus? We have a substantial army.
Eventually, we will want to build to settlers for the Shananshan provinces, and declare war on Oman. We also need an expedition to India.

Turn 0 1298 AD

Distribute all Espionage to Fatimids, sell Asymmetric Warfare to Sindh for 110g+WM

Turn 1

Gujarat cancels Dye for Opium-deal, we demand Rice and get it. Farghana HHA-Heavy Lancer, Mekka Textile Factory -> Barracks, Kerman Brothel -> Settler, Samarkand HHA-> HHA, Ghazna Marksman -> Heavy Infantry, Wasit Guild hall -> Market. Ottomans spawn, they are instantly pleased and we open borders. I think we don't need to capture any more cities from the Byzantines, so I reroute the siege weapons to the Levant, the HHAs in Anatolia just pillage the land. GP settled in Mekka.

Turn 2

Byzantine Empire collapsed. Black Powder learned, next Administrative Reforms. Most of our core cities keep building military, Gwadar finishes Hospital and starts Bombards. Neyshabur Textile Factory -> Courthouse, Baghdad Weaver -> Sunni Mosque.

Turn 3

Merv Textile Factory->Sunni Missionary, Mekka Barracks->Bombard, Quetta Karimi Funduq->spy. Venezian Merchants in Constantinople. Our Armies are slowly assembling in the Levant and near Gwadar to strike the Fatimids and Gujarats.

Turn 4

A Great General is born in Farghana, he gets settled. Building Military everywhere. Espionage slider to 70% for now.

Turn 5

Neyshabur Courthouse -> Pottery Workshop. There seems to be a bug with the Ottoman flip: all the Independent Cities in their core didn't flip to them. 1 HHA captures Kallipolis, so we can build some Transports in Constantinople for the invasion of KoC. Our spy in Egypt gets caught but escapes to Mesopotamia. We can now investigate Fatimid cities: the last Relic is in Cairo:
Spoiler :

Turn 6

Mekka Bombard -> stable, Kerman builds another settler, Wasit Market -> Barracks, Samarra Guild Hall -> COurthouse. We will attack Oman the next turn with 4 HHAs, as the two cities we need are pretty much unprotected.

Turn 7

Neyshapur Pottery Workshop -> Walls, Merv Sunni Missionary -> Sufi Missionary, Ahvaz Sunni Missionary -> Sunni Mosque, Baghdad Mosque -> Madrassah. We declare War on Oman and become a Heretic (3). Siraf captured.

Turn 8

Mekka Stable -> Heavy Lancer, Neyshapur Walls -> castle. Shiraz captured.

Turn 9

Wasit Barracks -> Bombard. Fishing boats near Gwadar get pillaged by omani ships. However, we make peace the same turn for 130g, wm and 5gpt. Gwadar finishes Bombard and starts Fishing Boats. Kashgar in the far east flips to us, but it gets disbanded. Sindh and its Vassal Ghorids declare war on Malwa + Gujarat... our armies are ready to join the fight, we just need a bit more siege weapons. Some Cavalry is assembling in Teheran to strike the Caucasus.

This is the Fatimid main army:
Spoiler :

With 2-3 suicide catapults, they will be fast food. I think its the best to move our army on the Sinai:

Spoiler :

Then declare war and go straight for Cairo (and maybe Domyat and Alexandria)

Turn 10

Baghdad has 2 Military Instructors, so Madrassah -> Barracks. Our Armies start moving to India and Egypt. Sell a few techs for ~ 500g.

Comments:

- We should keep Great Persons for Golden Ages now, our stability will certainly go down when we fight in Egypt, India and Caucasus; 1 GM is in Gwadar
- Build Topkapi Palace
- Try to get Piety up, so we don't have the stability penalty
- We could think about letting our cities flip to the Timurids
- Settlers are ready for Yazd and ... Tabaristan I think. Shahanshah will give us a Stability boost

Timurids would flip our capital, Samarqand and Farghana too. Letting two core provinces go would collapse us.

Actually your capital won't flip, if I remember correctly. I think when I played as Timurids I had to conquer cities south of Samarkand.

Turn 0 (324) Minor adjustments. At 70% science -168gpt, 2072 gold, stability +33.

Turn 1 We capture Angora and Eskisehir and become the Roman Emperor. Angora is liberated to the Karamanids.
Spoiler :

Turn 2 Yazd and a city in Tabaristan are founded, we become Shahanshah. Yazd is liberated to the Ghorids and Eskisehir to the Ottomans.

Turn 3 Couple Great Mosques are started, our armies are closing in on their targets. Open borders with Oman.

Turn 4 Ahvaz begins the Summer Palace.

Turn 5 We declare war on Gujarat. Malwa is kind enough to provide us rice. Gelibolu is liberated to the Ottomans. Constantinople is preparing a fleet.

Turn 6 We capture Dwarka! Only one shrine is missing.

Turn 7 Somnath is taken. Great Merchant is born in Gwadar with very low odds, it is sent towrds Anatolia to conduct a trade mission.
Spoiler :

Turn 8 Khambat goes down next, although our main army has been sieging Anhilwara. Gujarat capitulates and converts to Sunni. Khambat and Somnath are immeatidely liberated back to them and they become stable. We make some generous trades with them to keep them from collapsing.
Spoiler :

Turn 9 We declare war on the Fatimids.

Turn 10 Dvin and Kars are burned, but the Armenians are still solid.

Turn 11 Ahar is razed, but Armenians are still solid and as far as I can tell I have razed everything from their lands. I guess liberating those citites back to them really buffed their stability.

Turn 12 Fatimids attack our stack, but get beaten. Gujarat takes Chittor from the silver plate that we put it on. Mewar capitulates and converts to Sunni. We spread Sunni to Bhopal and Khandva. At 70% science -176gpt, 1191 gold, stability +93.
Spoiler :

Notes and suggestions:

-Armenia is willing to capitulate, but there is no need to turn them into Sunni yet, since they might switch back to Orthodox later. However, the Caucasus armies should attack Georgia asap. Everything else than Tbilisi and Gori can be easily taken without siege, that will probably collapse them.
-Malwan lands have Sunni now, but they are unwilling to convert, so we maybe we should crush them.
-We can take Cairo soon, so we should snatch the relic and turn the main army back towards Al-Quds. They will probably collpase just by taking Cairo.
-Dwarka wants to flip to the Gujarat, so it should be kept garrisoned.
-There are two Baglaghs and a Great Galley in Constantinople ready to head towards the KoC's lands, they are just waiting for the bombard to finish. Some siege has been routed towards Tarsos to reinfroce them while taking on Limassol. NOTE: Cyprus is our target not Rhodos!
-Prepare for the Timurids, although we might win this before they arrive!

Goals:
1. Win by Sunni Unique Religious Victory (URV). - Basically done
2. Complete 2/3 UHVs - Done
3. Become Shahanshah, Sharif of Hejaz and the Commander of the Faithful - 3/3 Done
4. Settle all Sunni Relics in Mecca - 6/7 (?) currently in Mecca, almost done
5. Convert all surviving nations to Sunni - Georgia and KoC are our biggest obstacles. Almost there
6. Control all Religious Shrines - 3/4 Jerusalem will be ours in about 10 turns.

Spoiler :

Nicely done!

By the way, liberating a bunch of cities gives us +60 stability?

Thanks. That and the Roman Emperor and Shahanshah titles.

BTW, we have about fifteen turns before the Timurid flip, so we should probably declare war on the remaining non-Sunni civs now. Thus they are more willing to negotiate peace before Timurids come to mess things up.

We will also have to deal with the Shia Bahamanis in southern India, they spawn around 1350. But they're gonna flip Mumbai which has Sunni, and we still have a bunch of troops around.

Anyway, something is seriously wrong with Armenias stability ;). They have been very stable / stable ever since the Byzantines collapsed, and we razed their capital + pillaged every single improvement. Some weird things going on in this game, maybe Embryodead should be informed about this (if he doesn't lurk). Seljuk & Ottoman flips definitely didn't work as intended.

Armenia got a lot more stable as former Seljuk cities were liberated to them during my last turn set.

I will download tonight.
