Dual
Gun Mage
UPDATED (4/19/06):
Added team colors support to the wings.
UPDATED (4/06/06):
All I did to update this one is to add all of the origional Jet Fighter's animations to the model. So point to those animations when you add the unit to the XML.
OLD POST: This is the next TIE, the Avenger. Also known as the TIE Advanced, the "Avenger" name comes from the idea that the fighter would avenge the loss of the Death Star by being able to beat the Rebel's X-Wings. The Avenger has two features usually not seen on TIE craft; a shield generator and hyperdrive.
Here's some more info about it here: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/TIE_Avenger
I found several reference pictures, and every one of them was different. So I went with the image from the Decipher CCG card, because I liked it the most. Instead of that weird "squashed" cockpit from the TIE Fighter videogame, the card had a normal TIE cockpit that looked like the next logical step from Vader's Advancedx1. The polygon count is 1558.
