Steam Unlock Time...

I preordered Civilization 5 a few days ago off of Steam. I preloaded the game and everything. Well, I was just getting excited seeing as how it's 8 PM and midnight is in 4 hours whenever I checked the Steam page and it says... 14 hours till release? What the hell kind of launch time is 10 in the freaking morning on launch day? That's when my first class of the day is and I'll be busy till late into the night tomorrow :-/.... UGH. So is that a typo or will it really launch that late?

Most likely reason: They want to make sure that it's released during business hours, so if there's problems, people don't have to wait 8 or more hours to contact tech support.

Well that sounds better than the current rest of the world release time 0.00 GTM. Still it doesn't matter for me as I'm going to buy it on the release day from a local shop so I have to wait until opening time anyway.

Funny, but I just checked your link above and here's what it says now:

Civilization V will be available for those in Canada, Mexico and the United States.

So I think they are converting 9EST to 6PST for my benefit.
