Corruption affect gold(1), production(1/2) and science(1/3).
The more affected cities are the more populated, the farther away and disconnected from the capital.
You have some ways of fighting the corruption:
Connecting a city with the capital will reduce it by 30%
Building castle, constabulary and police station 15% each.
The Tradition Policy Branch reduce the corruption caused by population and the Liberty reduce the one caused by distance.
Order policies reduce the production(1), gold(1/2) and science(1/4) corruption
Autocracy reduce the gold(3/4), production and science(1/2) corruption
Freedom reduce gold(1), science(1/2) and production (1/4) corruption
In each city, you can see the modification of the yields -x%
Also, you have a corruption resource, that tells you how many % you have in all the cities, it may be over 100 because is the summary of all the cities
