@EA: The thing I updated in the first post was an addition to policy, that expansionistic policies are very important.

Also, I came to a sort-of revelation when I was half-asleep this morning, a half an hour ago. The reason why citizen groups die out is because they are not allowed to become political parties. Therefore they have absolutely NO power and no clout. This kinda put a damper on my spirits...
