The successful buildup of troops was critical to an allied victory. France wanted this campaign to be quick and concise, but all nations knew it would not be quick. France pulled troops out of the Ottoman territories as democratic control had been established and began to station hundreds of thousands of troops in nearby Germany. The following list is in order of the three major NATO countries and what they sent, and by how many troops they sent:

ABSOLUTE TOTAL: 964,000 troops from the 3 major NATO nations. Combined with the power of the other allies the number reaches 992,000.
