Here is the 'pre turn'. I accidently hit enter while rushing some buildings per domestic, and it went to the next turn. (bad game layout Firaxis. )

1540 marked the start of a rather quiet era of peace. Rails and roads continued to be built as the new province continued to grow. 5 years later, a ragtag team of Aztec troops were seen bumbling their way through our territory. We were thinking of having our tanks escort their swordsman... In 1550, the Aztecs took Canton, which apparently had a coal source they needed. (They signed a peace treaty with China 5 years later) Our citizens were also content with the peace and decided it was time for a new government! Very little happened during the next few decades. The only major even of note was the 'round-the-world journey of an English Man'O'War and galley in 1570! In 1575, Pharsalos was connected, and 5 years later, our people wrote a new constitution and declared Phoenatica as a democracy! 10 years later, the city next to Fox Nest was donned 'Tirion'. Another city awaiting a name was also built in 1590. Greece is still at with with Rome, England, Iroquois, and Babylon.
