So we all know much about UUs now (thx Shaq) but so far
i didnt find out much about the unique buildings :( Anyone got
some info here?

According to Arioch's ever excellent website all we know is...

Unique Buildings
Wat - Siamese Unique building (University): +3 Culture, +50% Science, 2 x Scientist Specialists.
Krepost - Russian Unique Building (Barracks or Walls)
Satrap’s Court - Persian Unique Building
Longhouse - Iroquois Unique Building
Burial Tomb -Egyptian Unique Building (Temple)
Paper Maker - Chinese Unique Building (Watermill?)
Floating Gardens - Aztec Unique Building (Granary?)
Bazaar - Arab Unique Building (Market)
Mughal Fort - Indian Unique Building (Castle?)

I wonder if Persian unique building is courthouse replacement with much less cost.
I think that would fit their strategy perfectly.

Also, AFAIK:
- Longhouse. Replaces barracks, additional something (production?) from forest tiles (don't remember exactly).
- Paper Maker replaces library.

I kinda wish more civs had UBs . . .
Honestly, most of the UUs look way more interesting than these UBs.
Slightly more efficient buildings that you have all game don't change your optimal playstyle nearly as much as truly different UUs will (like the camel archer, longbowmen, minutemen, hoplite, war chariot, narusan's elephant, etc.).

Well, Iroquois longhouse surely adds to their elven gameplay. Hope some other will be special too.

I thought we didn't have a clear picture of what exactly the longhouse did yet?

There are a few that seem to have some synergies with UAs (improved city defenses would work well for India with a fewer/bigger cities approach), but really its the UA driving the strategy.
Whereas UUs seem to have more ability than UBs to actually change how you play.

I believe we got some info for the paper maker, but I can't remember what ^>^.

As for longhouse, we did get some info on it yes,

One part was +1 hammer to all forest tiles. (Further improving thier forestry)

Probably something else as well to do with the building it replaces. If it is replacing a barracks then maybe an XP increase perhaps, but I am just speculating.

if tree chopping for bonus hammers is still in, it will be fun to take over the "people of the longhouse" :goodjob:

the longhouse does indeed add production to forest tiles (well according to one source) but we do not know what builidng it replaces, i don't think it was the barracks, because there was no mention of an xp boost as well.

Do we know for sure lumbermill is a terrain improvement and not a building? Watermill is a building now . . .

Yes we do know that for sure, we have a full list of terrain improvements and buildings from civopedia, and also improvement's have a community feature too.

I thought Longhouse was +1 food from forests and was a replacement for Granary?

I am pretty sure from when I played it at Pax that I read in the Civilopedia that the Longhouse replaced the Workshop, and instead of a % bonus to building production gave +1 hammer to forest tiles.

This doesn't totally make sense to me, so even though I think I read it I am not sure I believe it.

Paper maker was a library-like building (giving +1 science per 2 pop - I didn't notice if it had scientist slots) and it also gave +4 gold. I don't know what it replaces, if anything. Obviously the most likely explanation from this info is that it's just a library with a gold bonus.
