I've heard that argument before and i find it very odd.
Like, obviously i don't exactly like monarchy on account of, well, national history, but...
...if anything the office the monarchy should matter and the gender of the monarch should be immaterial.
So it doesn't really count.
I'm sure you can put together what i mean.

Well, i'd agree with that, among other things for the sake of the chance to replace the Queen on currency with an actual Canadian woman with actual pertaining accomplishments.
Sounds like a good plan to me.
