I jumped right into playing Rome as soon as v94 was released and managed to clear it.
Based on my experience with the previous version,
I believed that lowering the difficulty would be beneficial for governing a vast territory, mainly due to happiness issues, so I played on level 2 this time.
Thanks to Rome’s unique ability, I was able to acquire a vast territory without producing a single settler.
I only engaged in wars with barbarians, Celts, Huns, Mediterranean cities, and Greece.
I haven’t played beyond that, but with so many cities established, Europe is likely to see significant development!

Here are some points that caught my attention:
  • The Celts didn't build any cities and were judged extinct at some point unexpectedly.
  • Human players could choose between annexation or puppeting at the time of spawn.
  • The rows in the Score Breakdown are misaligned.
  • The ability to obtain settlers by defeating barbarian camps seems to be working properly.
  • Greece didn’t expand much (remained at 2 cities).
  • There were instances where the icon for the science in the top left was incorrect (e.g., the horse riding icon displayed during the heavy plough).
