I am offering 6 gpt and 1 horse for someone to flip the disable events system vote.

I really think that the unfinished system should not be activated by default, and it should not be part of balance considerations.
I look forward to working with others to improve the system in the future--it would of course be a shame for all the events we made to go to waste when there are people out there who enjoy the system.
 
Why does it even require supermajority? It's just a flip of value, easily reversable. Snip snap, snip snap.

Also, if it stays on by default that means that events have to be considered when balancing, which are not. Why shouldn it be an exception? It's a no brainer to me to disable it by default and should be fast-tracked.
 
Random lurker here, logged in for the first time in forever to vote for the events system. I've been playing this mod on and off for about 5 years, and I don't remember seeing events in the patch notes a single time this whole period. There are no mechanics that interact with this system, little to no documentation on it, and no ways for the player to meaningfully use them in their strategy. Keep it on if the people desire so, but to me it is clearly a tertiary part of the VP experience - akin to research agreements, if not even lower on the totem pole.

2) 6-19, also tied, and its a complete difference in philosophy (should GOW pantheon be nerfed further are buffed to earlier levels).

are factoring out the cheater's votes? tetraconch looks like it's not very close, cuz like 10 of those votes are from them
 
it is not, I didn't have an easy way to filter those out. so it is possible somet of these are not as close as they look. but in the interest of covering basis, if you haven't voted on the ones I've mentioned, you should do so!
