What is causing my 2 move units to only get 1 move in enemy territory?

I already discovered dynamite so it can't be the great wall and there are no units around exerting a ZOC on me.

I am 3 moves from London and no rivers or rough land, just plains.

My units only get 1 move each turn and get chewed up by Londons range units.

Am I missing something here?

I think England has to discover dynamite, not you.

You might mouse over the tiles. Sometimes there are graphic glitches in the terrain and rivers are not visible. Happens rarely, but always at an inopportune time.

This is why I fear England with the Great Wall and Longbowmen before they have Artillery. Just wait until England researches Dynamite and then you will have normal movement. With your tech lead you should have aircraft to deal with the longbowmen by then.
