Who's still here?

Long time no see.

I went to university and got super busy, and NES games seemed to keep dying as soon as we made them so I thought it was on its last legs.

But now after thinking I'd go look at my old stories I find it was still a thing for a long time after I was gone.

Who's still here from the early days? Sorry for not dropping in sooner - and hello everyone else!

There are some husks, some shadows, the occasional update.. but NESing is dead (on this forum) and lives on in a few varied forms else where (discord).

My generation came in around 2005, and I think our activity peaked around 2008-2012. NESes steadily became complex and deeper as the mods aged, but fewer threads were run. After the 2014 crisis, activity dwindled, but people still run games from time to time that are still quite good.
