Why I don't get happiness from natural wonder ?

I just noticed that I had found one natural wonder (I think it was Old Faithful) but there was no notification about that discovery and there is no happiness about finding that natural wonder. What is the matter ?

I have also seen this since the patch, not all the time but sometimes I don't get a happy when i discover a NW either.

So are you saying that all natural wonders give their happiness only when worked now instead of when found? Or are you just talking about wonders that specifically provide happiness when worked, like the Fountain of Youth?

They meant the initial +1 happiness when you find it.

It's a gameplay mechanic, just as resources all give fixed 5 happiness with few if any buildings to multiply it.

If the Natural Wonder is uncovered via a secondary effect (like discovering a map from an ancient ruin), the Wonder is not counted as discovered. You still have to bring a unit within sight distance of it.

The same is true for meeting city-states and fulfilling quests to find other countries.
