based on this screen shot it appears that the Royal banner (for England) is red with a black crown. It just seems odd to me that the colonies are represented by a flag of England and actual England is not. I would rather see the colonies get a new banner upon declaration of independence....
Wow, how horrible it looks on the WYSIWYG with the individual unit list.
The reds look like they are from the north america which could be the colony. I imagine those places are what the motherland has managed to keep or maintain control over.
