Really, Kael, you have to put these in, achievements add so much for those of us that want more then just beating the game. They would give a reason to keep playing after victory is assured and really spice it up.

You can try the Armageddon scenarios by Sureshot, they don't change the game play mechanisms but are very well done and require you to work within certain parameters to achieve your ends.

I don't see why it would have been so difficult to include a simple toggle switch for difficulty. It would have made a lot of more hardcore gamers a lot happier.

The registry key is tied to the entire registry and you can't change your registry from what it's supposed to be without destroying your computers functionality.

Yeah, that and the anti-pirate measures. Not saying that pirating is right, but the companies are going about it all the wrong way. No DRM is the way to go, it makes life easier for actual buyers of the games and no matter how much DRM is heaped on a game will still get hacked in days anyway.
