Thanks snarko! I did some tinkering on my own and also adjusted the OPINION_WEIGHT_WARMONGER values and WARMONGER_THREAT thresholds. :goodjob: I'm afraid I don't see WARMONGER_THREAT_PER_TURN_DECAY in any of the AI XML files either, though. Was that added in G&K?

Aha! Turns out the reason I couldn't get it to work this whole time was because I forgot to UpdateDatabase OnModActivated! D'oh! :cringe: Thanks for the help/code though, jpbar81! :goodjob:

Okay, thought I had it figured out but still no luck. I was maybe hitting a snag within the UnitPromotions XML file, but updating that isn't working either. Here's the revised code:

No luck I'm afraid. I changed the code to this and unfortunately I'm still seeing Allows Embarking under Optics. I researched Sailing just to double check but it doesn't appear as an option.

Sorry to resurrect an old topic but I'm trying to create a mod that does exactly this and running into problems. This is the XML code I've got, but when I test it out, "Allows Embarking" still appears under Optics instead of Sailing in the tech tree. Can anybody point out what I'm doing wrong here?
