I totally agree that any attempt to not call Hamas a terror group is hyporcrite. Considering other uses of the word.
But - I just think this word should be dropped out of global use.
It no longer means anything other than bad, enemy or evil.

There is a HUGE gap in public support and view between this war and those wars of the USA in Asia.
A better comparison is maybe UK-Germany in WWII.
As of now the costs don't matter. They may affect the tactics but not the result to which everybody is commited.
And if the goal to destroy Hamas...
Let's break down everything in this comment.
Earlier attempts to destroy Hamas have failed. Let's see.
What were the reasons to the failure to destroy Hamas in the past?
The 2008-2009 operation:
This was the first Gaza operation, and basically the only one about which it was widely thought...
Don't push the conversation back to the past.
If you criticise Israeli operative choices, let's focus on that.
I hinted about the underground facilities.
You dismissed it as being not the kind of construction to allow it.
I showed a picture of a regular city skyline.
So do are we settled? Is it...
Then you should remember how it was.
The enemy country, which wants you dead, has civillians.
They are, by name, the civillians of the enemy.

You can offer condolocense to residents who are dying, sure, but don't...
Once again, what not to do.
How would you take care of the Hamas problem without bombing refugee camps?
And without suggesting the dissolution of Israel?
These are important in order to preserve or to refine democracy and its sorrounding values.
But these are not the essense of democracy. demo, cracy.
Just as much as a military is required to defend an independent country in many cases, and without a military a country might collapse. But does...
What is your other solution to the Hamas problem, which doesn't involve the dissolution of Israel?
Not that I claim that there aren't any, I just assume people are easy criticising but would do the same in Israel's shoes.
Oh no no, this current government represented large chunks of the population.
In a naive sense, it was an ideal democratic government.
I could see the reflection of the nation in each and every one of its memebrs.
Which is horrible, but no news for me.
Palestinian Arab culture, as a too-broad...
Intended to rule out protests that are below newsworthy items that I might haven't heard of.
Let's give you 100, I guess it can also work.
But! We should go back to protesting soon, and there's a talk of reviving it the coming evening.
Sure they do.
With Bibi in power they will get all of...
