For me, I see the problems with payment and early access as one in the same. Even if you aren't paid directly, having early access as a content creator gives you a leg up on the competition, letting you get videos out during the hype cycle of an upcoming game. Thus, while the pay may not come...
Simple, Hawai'i would be the modern civ for a Polynesian group of civs.
Just don't have them in the game. Problem solved.
Don't have the ridiculous developer self-insert in the game and you don't have to worry about that. There are tons of great options for England, Britain, etc., they didn't...
I have not once seen a Civ 7 detractor suggest that those who like the game should leave the site or be separated off. However, I consistently see the inverse suggested. This mentality is not one that can coexist with free expression or exchange of ideas.
I actually consider the problems Starfield and Civ 7 have to be pretty similar. Both games are built around fundamentally flawed systems (civ switching/ages and Starfield's travel system) that they will have a difficult time fixing post-release. Because it's the core systems that are flawed, the...

Again, if sales were strong on these other platforms, they would have highlighted it on the earnings call. They didn't do that though.
It's so frustrating that they made the map tiles so beautiful, but then the urban sprawl just covers it up. The rural improvements don't look great either in my view.
He’s talked about Civ in other videos too. For example, in his writing course this spring (which is excellent and would recommend to anyone interested in storytelling) one of his students asked about Civ 7 and he said he was very excited for it.
Yep. The price was a problem initially. Now they have to overcome a negative review profile. Unless they're planning on lowering the price to $10 soon, I don't think price adjustments will matter much at this point.
I think a good place to start is identifying the "problems" that existed with Civ 6 and previous titles. I believe disagreement between Firaxis and much of the fanbase on what needed to be "fixed" is what led us to this point.
Once we identify those problems, we can find solutions and weigh...
