Ok, so I've fixed the .dll error. I changed the 0 to a 1 on the .ini. Its still crashing, but its gotten a little better. I think. It still not giving me a menu, but the picture screen changed to a black screen and the generic windows arrow changed to the game arrow. Is there anything else...

No, I've never seen that screen. The farthest I've got is the picture of the ships heading to the planet with some rather nice music. No menu or anything like that. Of course, I would give anything to get back there.

That's what I was afraid of. I thought I check the drivers and they were up to date, I will do it again. How can I adjust the setting without getting to the menu? Also, do you think that will resolve the .dll error?
