    Well what did your health change to when you picked up the Virtue? Silly how many people are struggling with the local city health. This system was around for forever in Civ V with happiness.

    I've got my explorers on auto in the mid-game and have not experienced them attacking aliens. Also, in single player, if you do not clear the "Are you sure you want to make this attack?" advice popup, it will stop your explorers from attacking when you do the 2-tile move.

    If you look at the credits, it looks like the names of the planets are the names of the developers. So my guess is that yes, that is probably all it does.

    You can "drain the xenomass" with the same Explorer. Any unit, it would seem. There will be a button there, immediately after making the Quest decision, to drain it. If you choose the Harmony decision, then there will be an actual xenomass resource node.

    While annoying, I think this may be by design. There are satellites to create both basic and strategic resources. It will take a while to finish the quest, but it is by no means uncompleteable.

    I think that the bug is that the Quest isn't failing. I saw the AI doing an expedition on a tile, and then got the same message about failure. So my guess is that the expedition site is gone and the quest should be done, but isn't.
