No luck with that. Inside the RFCEurope_1.5 folder, there is the .ini, the .bak and a RFCEurope folder. Should I try moving this into Mods instead?
(When loading the 1.5, I just get default, even with the name change)
Actually no luck so far. I have done as you said, but the maps 500AD and 1200AD are not appearing in scenarios. Also, if I load the mod manually, it seems to stay as default.
Is this a problem with my placement, or my download?

No the maps came with the mod, in the public maps folder. The creator says just right click on them. (Or he did, about six years ago). They are not coming up anywhere. They have the format...
The mod was a vanilla mod, but it has updated to BTS. It comes with a folder full of maps of the med, recommended to play with. While these do not work, the rest of the mod seems to function perfectly, but only with random terrain, not suggested by the mod creator.
