Fantastic Work! thank you for the mod but I'd love to see artillery/large navy units have a ranged bombard ability. much like the base bunkers that are in version 16.

I seem to remember being able to go into a "unit design screen" in smac. is that in planetfall or not? I don't see the technology progressing the same way as in the original...just curious:confused:
so I captured abashi and had a great time pillaging the Lanun coastline until I landed my troops. I have a stack of assassins that, I thought, were there to guard my mages. The Lanun assassins go right by them and kill my mages.
Is this a lanun trait or do all assassins get to kill whatever...

Question 1: if I capture Acheron red dragon with beastmaster (or whatever) can he move or is he held?
this answer changed over the different versions of the game.

From what I've noticed, if you can't see the bombard crosshairs then maybe the city's defenses are down to zero. If you wait a few turns without attacking then they slowly rebuild.

Has anyone who tried the 4.12 drivers played half-life 2? I had to update to 5.whatever in order to remove rainbow water. not too keen on rolling back to an old driver because ATI will rob peter to pay paul when it comes to their drivers.
I did the recommended ATI fix from the 2k games site...
