In mandarin Chinese, 天 („tian“) means both day and sky….as well as other things. If Civ‘s translation is indeed 天, then that would IMO be correct. Or am I wrong? I‘m not a native speaker.
For me, balance plays a vital role. It doesn‘t need to be perfect but it should not be one-sided either.
Imbalance should be subtle enough that no one can agree on a „tier list“.
In Civilization V, multiplayer was really fun, but was also lacking in some aspects (e.g. interaction with A.I., team cooperation, dealing with game length). How important is the multiplayer aspect for you in CBE?
Huns: If your starting warrior is upgraded to a battering ram from ruins very early, send it to a nearby city state (or even player's city) to conquer. Usually the ram can take the city on its own.
Perhaps you are right. It could also contain new tiles (natural wonders, luxury goods, other special tiles *cough*bison*cough*).
I'm honestly not expecting anything major. More excited about the probable patch.
I have bound the hotkey for switching to next unit (think its called cycle_unit) to TAB and ending turn to SPACE.
That already makes turns a lot less clicky.
- Update traderoutes between one's own cities in order to move (give to city B at the cost of city A) large amounts (up to 50% of what city A has?) of production/food; or allow moving of citizens to other cities (balance for exploitation ofc.). Would make founding late cities so much easier...
I think Poland as a whole is strong, mainly due to the lack of any real weakness. Once they get ahead it's very hard to counter them. Honestly, their UA should only work in the second half of the game, like someone here already suggested.
Byzantine: I love the challenge and possibility of founding a religion with a bonus belief. In a recent game, I took the belief that enabled me to purchase units with Faith, helping me greatly in dealing with religion + the UUs at the same time.
