    So what does one do when the games are purchased from places like Gamefly? The installation process doesn't allow me to choose a directory, and I've found that it places files my Programsx86 folder, and not the Programs one. Furthermore, the files are then split between the Firaxis Games...

    What if you download Civ 4 and BTS from places like Gamefly or Steam? Does this change the installation process?

    So apparently after re-installing Civ 4 and BTS, none of my mods work, and need to be re-installed. Except they won't. It seems the the automatic folder detection isn't working, and I can't find the BTS .exe file. RI setup My Games BTS folder My Computer BTS folder My Games folder

    Emptying the Custom Assets folder didn't work, so I had to re-install both civ 4 vanilla and BTS. And that worked. But apparently now I need to reinstall my mods. I very much appreciate your help. Thank you.
