Worked fine before, but after the patch the game is unplayable. About the only thing that got fixed were the intro movies, everything else stutters like mad, or causes CTDs.

Well, isn't this dandy! I initially downloaded the patch (patch... HAH!) because I was having a few issues with the occasional stuttery movie. I thought "Hey, it's a patch, and those fix things!", and merrily installed it. I double-click my CIV4 icon, the 2K movie plays *without* a single hitch...
