What's the deal with people not submitting thier losses? If you're going to go through the trouble to write up a report of your game, just go ahead and submit the save! Don't be embarassed - I'm 1-2 in my GOTMs, and my win (GOTM2) came only on a bit of flukeish diplomacy that allowed me to win...
Just submitted my 2nd loss in a row, but on the bright side, thanks to the strategies I've read in these forums, this was my best game of civ 4 yet. In short...
Played Adventurer class... the 2nd settler didn't help as much as I thought it might due to the upkeep costs - I probably should have...
Ok, this is the strangest behavior I've seen from Civ, and it's only happened to me in this GOTM. Here's the general status:
Started the game fine. I started cranking out eagle warriors and charging about the countryside. Everything seemed fine, and I was causing enough of a ruckus that I...
Not a huge deal, but I played in both GOTM 1 and GOTM 2, however my global ranking only shows one game played in. You can see me in both of the individual rankings however.

I ended up in a war with the aztecs that has lasted a good 1000 years, and I...
The next leader you get, or if you still have on around, you should use to hurry-build the forbidden palace, somewhere on the south end of the continent. This will significantly help with production.
I myself was a bit disappointed with armies early in the game. With just one-off armies, it...
I just finished my first full game of civ 3 which was also the GOTM. I was able to win in 1425 ad by conquest.
It took a bit to get started, but once I was rolling I did well. I made early peace with the aztecs and defended my two cities from the chokepoint on the continent (with the...
It's perfectly legal to make a backup copy of software you own. However, there is nothing that says that the software company has to make it easy for you to do so, or any requirements that they help you overcome problems in doing so.
I am also unaware of any law which makes it illegal to use...
