Unfortuneatly not for now. My other laptop is broken. However the launcher did work on it while it was still running. Guess I'll have to do without. :(

Does the .exe file has a certain icon, 'cause mine is just the regular .exe icon (see pic). And as stated, I double click it and nothing happens. Seems like windows won't let me open it.

No, it's not a huge problem. What I did was removing the civ2.dat in both the MGE folder and ToT folder. I had to redo my settings in the options menu but it worked like a charm. ;) Thanks anyways gents!

The files tot use are in the "original" "extended" etc folders.

I have a thing for giga maps so you may have to stop me. I've started working on a map but the thing is, it's 81 titles wide and ~390 high (covering the map I linked above). Is this what you want or should I shrink it? Edit: I'm using this map instead...

The thing is, when I start the launcher (IE double click the icon) NOTHING happens. Same with the new one you so kindly attached. There's no error message or anything. Usually Windows gives me an error message. :( As stated, I'm running Windows XP SP3 (32bit).

Sorry for the threadjacking guys. I just reinstalled tot and decided to try this patch. It won't start though. I've got the game running on a win xp laptop. Any advice? I double click the TOTLauncher.exe and NOTHING happens. :(

So every time I play the cheat mnu gets automatically activated. IIRC I'm supposed to remove a fil and the problem is solved. I thought it was civ2.dat but that didn't solve the problem.

Actually, I made e Westeros map a couple of months back but lost it in a computer crash. :(

It's easy to see that a project at this magnitude has awaken some of the civ2 legends again. Great job TheNamelessOne! Keep up the good work. I myself will return when we're able to choose more civs... ;)
