Term 2 - City Placement Discussion

I favor DaveShack's map because of the placement of those 3 western cities. Move Cyc's #5 one spot SW and I'd say it's complete. As to the order of settlement, obviously the coastal hill is first priority. After that, strike westward and save those two southeastern spots for a bit later.

I agree with the majority and fully approve our judicial procedures.

    Settlement Plan

A solid plan, but we seem to be missing a spot. Perhaps a city 1 North of that central mountain would be a good position, for completeness' sake if nothing else?

Term 2 - Nominations for Judge Advocate

What with all the delightful legal discussion in Term 1, I've been motivated to take a more active role in our Demogame. I nominate myself. And accept.

    Defining Political Parties (assembly discussion)

While I applaud DaveShack for making an attempt at defining the sort of practices we wish to guard against, I agree with donsig that the definition is imperfect. Let us not forget: the whole reason we are at this juncture is because a benign citizens group was accused of being a political party...

How Is Our President Handling The Office?

The very existence of this poll shows Cyc's commitment to transparency and citizen input. Or it could just be pandering. ;) I give Cyc a grade of Excellently Not Bad.

Moira - our second city - who wans to live there?

We're still getting things sorted out here in scenic Moira. If everyone else is agreeable, I suggest the Governor's office take charge of the city's operation for the near future.

    Defining Political Parties (assembly discussion)

The Constitution needs to be changed because of the very situation we find ourselves in right now. I feel that the change from "political parties" to "exclusionary political practices" is a sufficient remedy to the issues we face as a result of JR1. Citizen groups based on political ideals...

    Defining Political Parties (assembly discussion)

My inclination is to not provide a definition for exclusionary politics in the CoL but rather have it determined by judicial precedent. By having "exclusion" defined by the Judiciary on a case-by-case basis, we will end up with a more organic, reactive definition. This definition will also be...

A pristine flowing river, dense forests, and coastal? Sign me up. Who could say no to the emerald coast of Hibernia?
