    22 Civilization Limit

The nice man said it would be any day now, yup, any day now. :crazyeye:

Greece kills me on the inside

Then fill out the Patronage tree and place your own religion in the city-state? I see a lot of complaints about a powerful but fairly limited UA which makes the game more interesting, many of them with assumptions that place Greece in a best-case scenario. Alexander is supposed to be an...

Does religion only grow do to outside pressure?

So the advisers documentation wasn't enough for you to get started? I mean, I only skimmed the stuff for a minute or two and before I knew most of it. I'm just a bit confused by your radically different experience.

I still believe in Global Warming. Do You?

There are plenty of ways the consensus is judged, but the following study is probably one of the easiest to understand. http://tigger.uic.edu/~pdoran/012009_Doran_final.pdf

I still believe in Global Warming. Do You?

*Looks at the mountain of evidence* Yeah... because we really need faith here.

I still believe in Global Warming. Do You?

That's giving too much credit. The argument is: somebody hit me, so I hit the next random person who falls under a broad grouping I've created.

I still believe in Global Warming. Do You?

Maybe because Weather != Climate and you're making poor conclusions based on your "common sense" observations. Global Warming isn't going to have the same effect on each region's weather due to the complexity of meteorological systems.

I still believe in Global Warming. Do You?

Why would local conditions in a single area be evidence for or against Global Warming?

I still believe in Global Warming. Do You?

He could probably find something that ties certain "Climate Skeptics" to old energy interests easily, as many outspoken activists do indeed seem to be getting rather large paychecks from those groups and have been called out on it. The rest of it is probably a misunderstanding on his part...

I still believe in Global Warming. Do You?

I don't see why you gentlemen/ladies have an issue understanding Mr. Case. Because the other has, at one point or another in the breadth of history, performed a vague offensive act against people of Mr. Case's viewpoint, it justifies a likewise undefined range of unlimited attacks on the other...

I still believe in Global Warming. Do You?

I'm not sure what you're getting at here. If you believe that's the argument then it certainly highlights a complete lack of understanding for why the overwhelming scientific consensus finds it almost certain that the amount of CO2 being emitted by human sources presents a long-term risk of...

    Fallen Enchantress

There's not really much to adapt around... There's only so much prime real estate in the game and it turns into an insane land grab after the first 10-20 turns because pioneers only need a bit of production and easily fall within the 3 turn minimum. After playing into a late game I've found...

*Video* Warlock: Master of Arcane = Fantasy Civ5

Those of us who didn't enjoy it haven't been posting. I'm not sure if the full game will be any different but I found the demo wanting for many of the reasons you pointed out.

    Fallen Enchantress

I picked it up and gave the current (0.913) Beta a go. My first impressions: I like the customization options but the interface is very annoying. Unless I missed it, there's no way to directly edit a custom Sovereign, even if it's something minor like realizing that I forgot to add gloves to...

Gaps between units are still too large.

Am I the only one who really likes this alternate history version of the 100 4000 Years War? But I'd be all for a more uniform tech tree spread where obsolete units aren't hanging around unless it's because the owner can't invest in upgrading them. It isn't like there haven't been woefully...
