I completely agree with this. Get rid of the base yields and go back to fully doubling the adjacency yields like they suggested in preview interviews. If the AI sucks at that then you can let them keep some of the base yields.
I agree with all of these ideas, though I feel like there must be a...
Another note on the OP: your Capital may not be the same city in the next Age, so it may not be important, even for the boni you're shooting for, to place the Ageless buildings in the 1st ring of the 1st Capital.
You have to do that for PC too. It's called the internet!
In all seriousness, this is true for all consoles, though yes you *also* need internet access so PC is still cheaper.
1) Being afraid of the big bad *is* roleplaying. You got into the lead by grabbing the best land, by building all the coveted wonders, by having the best empire (which is worth conquering). If the other players were roleplaying, they'd all be pissed at you for being a bad faith ally, envious at...
All they have to do is program the AI to try to do aggressive things if you have ludicrous yields. It doesn't matter how you get them, because if you're winning peacefully then the way to beat you is to fight. 3% per Alliance is perfectly reasonable, because other players have control over...
Yeah I didn't think either of these nerfs were necessary. But making one of the Traditions worse would've already been a good nerf to stacking the traditions for combat strength.

Several of the Tech/Civic Tree Mastery names don't match the Quick-view (the bar on the left that comes up if you just want to change your research selection without looking at the whole tree) Mastery names. It doesn't really matter because they're still named thematically, but it can be confusing.
They're also talking about the positions of the zones, not just the shapes. Outer/Inner is not simply a shape change. Vertically/horizontally oriented is not simply a shape change.
I really wish the game gave me a proper Random and had an option to have the AI choose randomly, or at least strategically. They always seem to end up running the same civs. And I always get Friedrich of Rome!
