    Simultaneous Question

Is there any way to activate this option mid-game? Forgot to set it at the beginning of a network game, and now turns are taking quite a while ~_~ Using Civ II:ToT 1.1, thanks.

When did you first play Civ?

The first time I played Civnet was when I got my first PC back in 1996, it came on a CD with some other stuff. It's still around here somewhere... aha! On it there was... Civnet Civilization 2 Demo IONA Demo Thinkin' Thinks 2 Sammy's Science House Trudy's Time & Place House...

    Suicide?

I usually stay peaceful in the game until I'm attacked, and don't give in to any demands other civs have. And if a civ attacks me, I'll retaliate, until their entire civilization is destroyed. I don't care how often they beg me to stop, they attacked me first & they will pay for it. This...

    Downloading the old wonder movies

There's 2 of them here. If you want I could convert the rest of them & submit them to the downloads section :D

    ToT or Civ2Gold?

I just remember another change, there are no longer animated heralds when you speak to other Civs...

    ToT or Civ2Gold?

90% of my time on CivII:ToT has been spent on Multiplayer Network games, as far as I can tell it is identical to CivII:MGE in trading/treaties etc. No complaints there :D

How do you know if a civ will use nukes?

Personally I hate it when the computer uses nukes, so I never build the Manhattan Project. I also attempt to sabotage attempts at other civ's building it. It's not so much the threat of being attacked by them that bothers me, it's that the AI never bothers to clean up all the damn pollution...

    ToT or Civ2Gold?

The improved graphics are nice, units face the direction they're going rather than being permenantly the same direction. The units are also animated ^^ If you want to see what it looks like, here is a screenshot of a large amount of barbarians foolishly approaching my cities :p

    civ2 stopped working! :(

My version used the MPS directory, mine was packaged as Civilization II: Ultimate Edition. It seems to be the same as MGE v1.2, except it rejects most of the v1.3 MGE update patches, probably due to it using a different directory.

    ToT or Civ2Gold?

Well, having played CivII:MGE for many many years, I started using ToT about a month back. I prefer it to MGE now, there's only a few things I don't like about it. First of all was the city & map display, but I quickly found out that this could be changed back to how it used to be. The other was...

    CivII:ToT NoLimits

Ohok, that would make sense. I had to copy the save accross from the other PC to run it, I didn't actually think about where to save it :p

    CivII:ToT NoLimits

Hmmm, thats weird. I just tried making a normal one player game, and the graphics are fine. Same for Hotseat & Network... But as soon as I load up my network game I was playing, it goes into classic graphics O.o
