In case any devs were wondering, the latest hotfix has fixed the crash issues for me. I still can't play very well in DX11 (because of the flickering, and I used to play it fine, pre-GK). But, I realize that some recent changes to the rendering engine mean I might be stuck at DX9 anyway.

My DXDiag is further up this page. GPU Texture Decode is not available to me (it's visible, but grayed out, cannot select). Leader quality is already on minimum. My first crash dump is in the zip file in my previous post. My 2nd crash dump is here:
To follow up on my earlier post... As others have seen, I am able to bombard under DX11 (both cities and ranged units) without the hang.
However, I did crash. Attached is my game save plus crash dump.
Crashed when I tried to declare war on Denmark. This is on top of the constant effect...
Similar here. Not a "city" crash, but a "bombard" crash. Ethiopian Crossbow trying to attack Viking. Bombard arrow begins to draw (the big red arched arrow), gets to about 20% of the way there, and whole game freezes.
Only animation occurring is the red cursor. It's slowly pulsing.
