I tried a complete reinstall. No luck. Still get the same error message. How frustrating.

The game still runs, but it comes up with a message at the beginning of the boot up that says, "Movies not installed correctly." It won't play the 'wonder' movies. It was working two days ago, now it's not.

On my iMac, the Civ Icons to Warlords and Regular Civ IV jump, but the game never loads. I have tried many things, but I can't get them to load. Any suggestions? I even uninstalled Warlords, and re-installed it. That didn't work either. Help!

Alan H told me about the zoom thing too, and this has worked fixing the blackout problem every time I have tried it. I used to quit out too, but the zoom out thing works.

Alan- Do you know the latest Build number for the 2.13 Warlords update. I "installed" it, but nothing seems to have changed. -Ben

Okay, I tried holding the function key down and pressing all kinds of buttons, but that didn't work. Obviously I need further instruction. Anybody use a MacBook to play CIV? How do you use the function key to move your units?

I have the Warlords 2.08 patch installed and yet Qin and Kublai are still switched... Any suggestions for explaining this? I am sure I have the patch installed correctly. I will try the function key. Do I just hold it down once I get into the game? I am still confused about this...
