Can I get some advice please. I have just installed the latest patch, and started a new game (Persians, Pangaea, Marathon speed, Noble level). For some reason I have multiple units showing (eg 2 Scouts showing for the single unit), even though in the options I have the "Single Unit" selected...

Yup - exactly the same, except it gave me a Conquest Victory. Mighty nice of it, but bloody useless as I was about 1/4 of the way through the tutorial when I saved it, and I ain't startin' again!!!

I agree with the Rifleman thing - particularly when you have a whole bunch of them moving across the map. It makes a hell of a racket!!!

Not sure about that - I built the Hoover Dam which stuck a hydro plant in every city, but it didn't replace the coal plants I had in some of them. I had to search though each city to sell them...

You don't want to sell hydro plants if you've built the Hoover Dam - that was the whole point of building it, to put hydro plants in all your cities... Another thing I've thought of - does the collosseum make the temple obsolete (so you can sell it) and the cathedral make the collosseum...
