OSX Slow!!!

It's about a month late, but I had the same problem and turning off Quartz helped a lot. I have a Powerbook 2000 Pismo with a piddly 8MB video card that won't handle Quartz Extreme... Mind you I'm running 512MB ram so I was a little surprised. BR
