I see where you're coming from, ChicagoCubs, and that would be an interesting alternative. The improvement I proposed is merely an interface / automation issue which doesn't involve any gameplay amendments. Your expanding sentry system would need to be carefully tested for its impact on game...

It doesn't look like anyone's posted this idea up till now, but imho it would be a simple enough interface fix that would make one aspect of the game much more enjoyable, and reduce micro-management. The sentry command for units is useful in its own way, but sometimes you don't have enough...

I've solved it. :D For anyone suffering the same problem here's what I did:- 1. Uninstall all Civ4 upgrades and vanilla Civ4. 2. Reboot 3. Install vanilla Civ4 then 1.61 patch (download) 4. Install Warlords and 2.08 patch (download) 5. Install BtS and then 3.13 patch (download)...
