Definitely agree with this survey....I was, and still am so disappointed in Beyond Earth. The only good thing that came from buying it, was that I suddenly loved Civ V so much more and still continue to play Civ V BNW. Saw the new xpac for BE and am still not impressed one bit. it just looks...

On another note, why does Venice suck so much as an AI? lol been on a few different maps, and I'll have 5 - 7 cities, enemies have 3 or 4.....and than there is Venice with his 1, MAYBE 2 cities at turn 200.

I haven't played Beyond Earth in a bout 2 months, went back and playing Civ 5 more than I ever have. Just sick of being surrounded by mass amounts of aliens and than having the world hate me because I'm defending my units by killing said aliens.....Being constantly contacted by the other civs...

Yea apparently that was the only problem, had to go into the settings folder of DirectX to change how Civ V loaded up so it'd be in window lol. But it's running great now. Thought window would suck too, but it's barely noticeable, so that's great :) Thanks everyone :goodjob:

see that's what is weird, Beyond Earth works perfectly with this monitor, I actually bought it a few days after I bought the game......but I'll try window mode on Civ V and see what happens. Most games I don't even go back to older versions, but Civilization is fun no matter which one you are...

Been playing Beyond Earth, but I wanted to go back and play Civ V. I went from a 19 inch dell monitor with 1280x1024 resolution. now have a 27 inch, AOC monitor using hdmi cable, and running 1920x1080 firaxis n credits run no problem, then once it gets to the loading screen, my monitor...
