Yes i have done that in one time, i have berlin and bonn across a river from one another two spaces, and on land i have to go around in a big U shape to get to it, so i put a transport ship between the two to just sit there and send people to that side

the cities have NOT revolted since i turned to fundamentalism i still haven't figured out why they were revolting in the first place though

Well I have 3 size 14 cities, 2 size 12 cities, and a few 9 & 10 sized cities. I'm not at home right now so i dont remember the average level of trade, i do know that generated income from the cities at tax of 10 percent more than covers all my expenses, I think my expenses are about 185 and 10%...

well i finally got sick of them revolting all the time and hit toggle cheat mode and started forcing different types of rule upon them until they quit revolting and for some reason fundamentalism worked

i've tried everything, tax 0 luxury 80, science high tax zero all different combinations, the cities have everything banks marketplaces, stock exchanges even there isn't anything to build in these cities, not even wonders ar eleft to build and they're still freaking out
