Figured it out...you need to update the app before you can purchase the Ethiopia pack.

Having the same problem. When I open the game I can purchase the Ethiopia pack but when I click 'BUY' nothing happens. I've purchased the other expansions this same way and have both the base game, Rise and Fall and Gathering Storm.

Now here's a real and strange scenario. I'm playing CIV 3 Complete for the MAC and I'm Korea. When I switch from Monarchy to Democracy my cash flow drops considerably. Why is that?

Thanks for the help. One other question regarding the topic. If I have say three settlers waiting to build new cities and I'm just about to switch governments would it be better to have those settlers hold off on starting new cities until I've switched to say Monarchy or Republic or does it matter?

I've been playing CIV 3 for about 6 months now. It seems almost every time I switch governments from Despotism to Monarch or Republic my cash flow actually DECREASES substantially instead of increasing. How is this possible? I can literally go from +5 in Despotism to a -20 in Republic. I'm...
