    Civilization 2 Technical Problem with XP!!

    You could try running in an older windows compatibility mode. Rclick on the civ2 exe file and select properties and then select the version of windows that you would like to run it in.

    i think i just copied the files in the wing folder on cd to the civ2 folder on my hard disk and this resolved the problem.

    When did you first play Civ?

    Back on the amiga in 91 i think. Still play a little civ1 now but mainly civ 2. Not many games you still play after 12 years are there!!

    how to build all the wonders?

    I would try and fast build a small civ of about 8 cities and just have 3 of them churning out caravans whilst the rest of them build wonders or hoard sheilds for when a new one becomes available.

    Well i didn't like the psx version. Just toooooo slow.
