Yeah, I've never seen anything like it either. Pretty weird, right? I'll try to get a screen grab and post it here. Could be a process explorer error, I suppose... but that doesn't seem too likely.

So, Beyond the Sword causes the CPU to max out in a strange way. Civ itself never seems to use much more than 30 - 40% tops, but causes other process to use more cycles than they usually do. Sometimes it will be focused on a few processes, other times its real spread out with lots of processes...
