I think the Netherlands should definitely have their bonuses around corporations, since the Dutch were the pioneers of corporations.
Spain could focus on extra growth and/or extra resource extraction on foreign continents. Maybe something to do with extra gold at the expense of loyalty on...
Because as a business model, you can't not sell consumers anything whilst developing the next iteration.
It's entirely possible that the main developers are working on new content; it's also possible they're working on the next iteration.
So, as a consumer, what I think is meaningless.
Ok.
Let me clarify: when I say 'failure' I'm not talking about sales or content - I'm talking about the overall direction of the game and its main mechanics.
Don't get me wrong: Civ 6 does some things really well; e.g.
City planning and districts;
Tech/Civic trees;
Governments and policies;
The...
I think the devs realised that Civ 6 was a failure after gathering storm.
A lot of the mechanics would require a significant rework in order to get Civ 6 to where they want it. In that case, they might as well build a new game.
I think Civ 7 is going to have the following:
Less cartoony...
Is Civ 6 doomed? Is it already a Lost Cause?
We’ve all been hoping that it will get better and will become the game we want it to be (of course that’s entirely subjective).
I’m starting to think that Civ 6 can’t be salvaged and I think the Devs believe this too. Given we’re coming into the...
One idea is to have a ‘Prospector’ civilian unit which unlocks in the Industrial Era. You can build only 1 or 2 throughout the era or something like that.
When you use a prospector you get to choose a resource of your choice, and consuming one charge spawns a mining resource on the tile.
There’s no point in fixing bugs or AI issues if they’re going to add more content. First add all the content and then make the balance changes.
I suspect (rather hope) that a combat based DLC or pack will be released. I think there’s probably a bit more they can do there.
I'm gettting a lot of stuttering and choppiness during the game. It happens when I move a unit or when I scroll the map. It's not smooth as it used to be. My rig is decent: i7700hq gtx 1060 6mb graphics card and the game is installed on SSD hard drive.
Not sure why this is happening? Any...
I wonder why they're focusing on resources in this pack? For e.g. Maya have a resources-focused ability, the new Catherine is focusing on resources and now they've incorporated this into Ethiopia's ability.
Mmm. I don't know. They seem a bit underwhelming to me. But, reading what other people have read here about the synergy with the secret societies, it could be useful.
It would be interesting to see how they play out.
