    Cultural victory...your thoughts

Cultural win is just a weasly way of winning higher difficulties. I have no respect for it whatsoever after ghandi beat my noob ass with it in my third game :P Playing at lower difficulties I'd oftentimes be close to winning cultural not even trying, then I have to completely stifle the...

Which leader/civ do you feel most sorry for in Civ 4?

Definitly Tokugawa. He is just so sad with his no-trade policy. More so than anyone else he lags behind and just cuts himself off from everyone.

    The best start ever?

Nothing gets me harder than riverside sheep when I'm financial. Too bad it's exceedingly rare; seen it once... ever :( I think the game knows how raging awesome it is and tries to keep it from me. The one time I got it the rest of the start was garbage.

    The least deserving civilization?

'False labels' 'full endorsement'? Calm down mate :crazyeye: A formal title of "CIVILIZATION" would be loose at best for Civ IV and can(as I said) hardly be applied to a number of the 'civs' in question. Far be it for me to say that every one of these civs are of equal historical importance...

    What's the Appeal with Marathon/Epic?

I'm a die hard techwhore/builder playing almost exclusively marathon/huge. But I like to do my warring when I want to. I'm usually at the very bottom of the powergraph, polishing my beloved cities to a mirror shine. I guess marathon cripples me a bit due to the extremely low unit output...

    Quick Answers / 'Newbie' Questions

I'm actually not thinking about resources, or lack thereof; I can usually tell when there's Iron/Copper/Horses laying around to be discovered. But I'd rather have no resources all rivered up with lush grassland and grassland hills to plant rows and rows of delicious cottages and future windmills...

On what? :D Finding my settler on top of dull grassland one tile short of a river surrounded by three elephants and some bananas just makes me

How does map scripts calculate and generate tiles for your starting city? Does every kind of resource/tile type have a designated value and it assigns you tiles worth a set sum equal to everyone else's starting cities? My problem: I feel the tile prospects of your first city are almost too...
