Meaning what?
We PM _you_ for approval before making a request to the thread?
Flintlock is the one doing all the work, I believe it is fair that they get to decide what constitutes a waste of their time. Not an arbitrarily self appointed forum member.
Your opinion that you would prefer the...
I completely missed the Lua hint.
I have never touched Lua but I do have some programming XP.
Scripting for Civ3 sounds awesome. I pinky promise to learn and use Lua if you want to do the heavy lifting of implementing it.
Random thought that occured when I was playing Carthage;
Is hasContactWith(Spain) a condition you could potentially check for building units?
Might be colourful to be able to build Gallic and Spanish mercenaries on condition that I had contact with those civs.
Amazing.
can I be cheeky and add a request to the pile?
The base game can point to new animation folders, such as the worker by different eras.
Is it possible to copy this idea, but to use Culture Groups and Civ Names instead of eras?
This would make it easier to add flavour units to civs...
This might be too late to be of any help, but you could reframe the problem: Ancient iron is really used to build swordsmen and their UU equivalents, no ancient access to iron removes these units with major effects.
So, remove the requirement of iron to build them. Save iron requirements for...
It's on, we have Elephants, Numidian Cavalry, a road across Celtic Territory and the Alps. {Yoda Powers giant earth map, with some changes to make it more about Punic Wars than Age of Exploration)
And in proper Punic fashion, we have emptied coffers to buy the services of the 3 G's - Gauls...
Flintlock, this is amazing.

I was out of the loop, so it took a few days to come...
Would "early" and "late" fit the label space?
Mentioning a battle happened in early 1014 AD, or late 1066, both seem like more natural terms for most of the game than discussing quarters.
Hi all.
I was thinking of making a change and wanted the opinions of people with more XP.
Feudalism is a bit marginal in game, but may be useful at an earlier age.
I was thinking of changing the default gov to be like feudalism with the despotism penalty, communal corruption and maybe high war...
Hi all.
Quick question, why do I always end up on worlds with American civs? I mean as the majority of civs, rather than a more even mix of culture groups.
Is there some bug or setting I have hit?
Is it just random chance that I have hit on a long run of ending up beside America, Aztecs, Maya...
