I've had problems with flipping cultures too. I will try this advise. On a related note, why do you not have an option to set up a new government at times? Sometimes the city is just destroyed when it is defeated.
I'm not familiar with the embassy or intelligence agency. How do you do that? Is it possible the computer set up an embassy without my knowledge? I don't think I ever agreed to one.
The computer seems to always know the weak, under defended cities in my civilization. I know that the "strongest" unit is shown that fortifies the city. Is there a way to tell how many troops are garrisoned in an opponents city? Also is there a way to determine what is build in an opponents city?
I'm sure this is a very simple answer, but when does the Middle Age Begin. Sometimes it seems to come quickly, and sometimes it takes a long time. Something has got to trigger it, I just haven't figured out what.
