Current Immortal game as Korea I managed to build the Great Library, Hanging Gardens, Hagia Sophia and the Leaning Tower of Pisa so far. All without access to Marble. I've no idea how I managed to pull it off. I do have a massive tech lead now though. :)

I agree. I have about 600 hours on the game and read a lot about it too on these forums. I am playing comfortably at Immortal now but I find it impossible believe somebody could survive at this level without such knowledge of the game.

I went with Poland, won my game so easily with them recently. Surprised to see how well The Inca are doing. Never even considered picking them for a game. Might have to give them a try. What makes them so strong?

Immortal seems the best level for me. I win some, I lose some (probably about 70% win ratio). I have actually just started my first Deity game. Expecting to get crushed.

Will have a try at this. Only won one culture game at Emperor and that was a fumbled attempt whilst attempting to learn the mechanics. My finish time was pretty pathetic.

This always seems to happen to me in a game... I take out my nearest neighbor and then struggle to decide on the best course of action for the rest of the game. I'd like to know what some of the CiV experts think I should do next and also point out anything I have done (or am doing) wrong...

I found myself in a situation where I popped an early culture ruin before I had scouted much of the map. In that situation, how would you decide between Tradition or Liberty (I rarely open with anything else)?

Should be easy if you focus on it. I've managed to build it whenever I wanted it on Emperor pretty much. Haven't bothered going for it on Immortal though...

Was playing at Immortal on G&K. Dropped down to King for first BNW game (after not touching CiV for about 9 months). Won easily so moved up to Emperor and have won pretty every game there too. Looks like it's back to Immortal!

I usually kill a few civ's and then just turtle up and win via one of the other victory conditions.

I rarely play for it as it just takes so much effort... I tend to give up halfway through even though I could easily go on and win. I play at Emperor / Immortal usually on Continents.
